Apply Now About UsNo flight is completed alone, It takes a team. The same applies to our dispatcher program. We hire competent dispatchers who take weather, fuel planning, and routing, into consideration to provide our crews with the most efficient plan to help our customers arrive on-time. They track flights in real time where applicable and will assist our flight crews with appropriate communication.
Airline pilots do not fly ad-hoc according to their wanted destination. Flight crews submit a bid depending on their seniority. The schedules will be released the start of the month and our crews must bid on their prospective routes before the end of the bidding period. In order for our crews to be awarded their bid, their seniority number or hire date will determine rights to bid.
Our fleet is tracked by our maintenance staff and appropriate repairs are made if necessary. Our crews report oil, hydraulic, and note any faults that may crop-up on the line.
At Coastal, our pilots go through a rigorous training program. Not just indoctrination, but we follow a yearly airline qualification program, or AQP modeled after part 121 regulations. This often includes emergency procedures, classroom study, and knowledge of systems required to operate on the line.
All of our flights are tracked by Coastal’s ACARS program. This system allows our dispatch team and operations to see our fleet location with precision. The system will also track detailed flight logs and read outs.
Coastal is committed to provide affordable leisure travel to coastal markets. We strive to maintain a fiscally sound balance sheet. We do this by controlling our cost with slow methodical growth into underserved markets. Again our flight crews are encouraged to control fuel burn.

More destinations will be added in the future as we strive to maintain a healty balencesheet. Our initial flight-crew hiring pool may have to endure repeated routing until we expand. Applicants please be aware of this before submitting your resume to us. However, seeing the company grown can be a tremendous benefit as our first pilots will have the opportunity to witness and help shape the company.
